Welcome to Girls on the Run Sonoma County - a life-changing, non-profit prevention program for girls in the 3rd through 5th grade. Our mission is “to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.”

Girls on the Run is an after-school program that uses the power of exercise to focus on building self-esteem and improving emotional and physical health. Girls are empowered with a greater self-awareness, sense of achievement and a foundation in team building to help them become strong, contented and confident young women.

Girls on the Run Sonoma County is an Independent Council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of over 150 locations across the United States and Canada.
